Create generic order notification

The generic order notification template is used for sending notification when an order have different statuses and can be used anytime during the workflow.

Message template name

Choose a descriptive title for the message template, such as "Order Confirmation" or "Delivery Confirmation," which will be visible in the list along with other notifications.

E-mail and SMS toggle

Toggle the email switch or the SMS switch, or both to open the text editor to add a content that you want to send when the notification is triggered.

 

Dynamic fields

In the dynamic fields, you'll find a variety of different replacement texts that you can use for your email or SMS notifications. First click in the text editor, then scroll through the list of replacement texts, pick the one you want, and it will be added to your message automatically.

Filters

Set different conditions that orders need to meet to activate the notification.


Market filter 

Specify the market for which the notification should be applied. 


Order type filter

Specify the order type that must be present for the notification to be triggered.

Note:The generic order template is not suitable for orders with the ordertype "click and collect." Use the click and collect template for notifications intended for such orders.

 

Advanced
If "Partial delivery" is enabled, the notification will only be triggered if the order includes a partial delivery.

 

Shipping type filter
Specify the required shipping type for the notification to be triggered. If not selected, it will apply to all shipping methods.

Tags

It is possible to exclude sending notifications when orders contain specific tags.
