Create a category / brand promotion

The "Category/Brand Discount" promotion type adjust prices for selected categories, brands, or products. It also allows for the exclusion of specific subcategories, brands, and seasons from the discount.

Creating a category promotion step by step:

1. Navigate to orders -> promotions
2. Click on "create button" in the left corner
   
   
3. Select category/ brand discount in the drop down meny and click create.
4. Give the promotion a describing name.
5. Specify the promotion's validity period by setting a start date and an end date.
6. Select a market. A promotion without a market will not be active. 
7. Specify the category, brand, or season affected by the promotion.
8. Set the reward to reflect the intended discount for the promotion.
9. Save promotion and update all prices. 
   
   

To verify the updated prices, navigate to the product list and select a product associated with the new promotion. Once there, select the "Prices" tab, where you'll find the revised price along with the name of the promotion listed in the price details.
