In the user settings, you can define a Default Store and Default Order Type for each user. These defaults are applied when the user creates new carts without selecting a specific store or order type.
Navigate to configuration -> Authorization -> User -> Select a user
Field Descriptions
Default Store
Select the store that should automatically be used when no store is manually selected.
Default Order Type
Select the order type that should be preselected when the user creates new carts.

These settings are useful for users who typically work with a specific store or order type.
The defaults can be updated at any time and take effect immediately.
