User settings: Default store and order type

In the user settings, you can define a Default Store and Default Order Type for each user. These defaults are applied when the user creates new carts without selecting a specific store or order type.

Navigate to configuration -> Authorization -> User -> Select a user

Field Descriptions

  • Default Store
    Select the store that should automatically be used when no store is manually selected.
     

  • Default Order Type
    Select the order type that should be preselected when the user creates new carts.

Tips

  • These settings are useful for users who typically work with a specific store or order type.

  • The defaults can be updated at any time and take effect immediately.

  • The default store or order type is used if no store is selected, and the user creates new carts.
