One time customer discount codes

Create a promotion

1. Navigate to orders -> promotions
2. Click the create-button. Select the wanted promotion type and click create.
3. Click on the edit button next to Unique discount codes.
   
   
   
   
4. Add the coupon codes that you want to be available, and check One-Time Usage.
   
   
   
   

Setup order workflow

In the order type setup make sure to add the workflow step “Check and update coupon usage”. The common place to put it is on the first orderstatus to prevent a customer from placing multiple orders using the same discount code.

Apply discount code to a cart

1. To apply a discount code to a cart in the UI, go to order details, click edit and click coupon codes.
   
   
   
   
2. After applying the discount code and clicking save, the discount should be applied to the cart.
   
   

Complete the order

1. Create the order by completing all the necessary steps in the cart.
2. After the order has been placed the discount code will be displayed as used and is no longer possible to use.
