In Omnium, you can set up shipping discounts based on order value, shipping method, customer group, or coupon code.
This guide shows you how to create a general shipping discount—and how to limit it to either customer club members or coupon code users.
General Steps to Create a Shipping Discount
Go to Orders → Promotions
Click Create
Select Shipping discount as the promotion type
Fill in the basic campaign details:
Name (e.g., Free Shipping over NOK 1000)
Description (optional)
Priority (lower number = higher priority)
Valid from / Valid until
Under Markets, select the market(s) the promotion should apply to
Under Shipping type filter, choose which delivery methods the discount applies to
Add an Order total threshold (e.g., minimum amount for free shipping)
In the Reward section:
Enable Percentage
Enter the value (e.g., 100% for free shipping)
Click Save
Example 1: Shipping Discount for Customer Club Members
To limit the shipping discount to customer club members only:
Follow the general steps above
In the left-hand panel, enable the Customer club toggle
Result:
Only customer club members will receive the shipping discount.
Example 2: Shipping Discount Activated by Coupon Code
To require the customer to enter a coupon code at checkout:
Follow the general steps above
In the left-hand panel, enable the Coupon code toggle
Enter your desired code (e.g.,
FREESHIP2025)Choose whether the code should have unlimited use, or click Edit to add unique one-time codes
Result:
The shipping discount will only apply when the customer enters the coupon code during checkout.

Use the Order total threshold to limit discounts to larger orders (e.g., free shipping over NOK 1000)
