Custom Views

Dynamic custom views makes it possible for administrators and users to customize the user interface to show more relevant information. This is a generic feature for creating customized views multiple places in Omnium, like product edit view, product view, cart view, etc. 

 

Create a custom view

To create custom views, go to Configuration and open the Create Custom Views tab. You’ll see sections for creating views for Product, Cart, and Project. Select one of these options, then click Create Custom View.


Product

In the product view, you can create a custom view for either creating a new product or quick editing product information.


New Product View

  1. Open Modal: Click on Create Custom View to open the modal window.



  2. Name and Area: Enter a descriptive name and select the area Create Product



  3. Description: Add a brief description of the view.
  4. Create View: Click Create to save.
  5. Select view: Select the newly created view
  6. Customize View: Click on the view to select which properties to display, and drag and drop the elements to the desired location.



  7. Activate View: Click the arrow next to the name and use the toggle to activate the view.



  8. Save Changes: Click Save to confirm.
  9. Once activated, the view will be available as a separate tab next to Omnium’s default view when you click on Create New Product.






Quick Edit View

For Quick Edit View, follow the same steps, but select Product Quick Edit as the area.

Project

In the project view, you can customize properties related to projects. Follow the same steps for creating custom views as for products, but select Project as the area.

 

Cart

In the cart view, you can create a custom view for carts. Follow the same process as for products and projects, but select Cart as the area.
