Managing multi-user session expiration

  • Updated

In some cases, multiple users may log in to the same account for collaboration or shared access. To ensure security and avoid unintended access, the system automatically expires multi-user sessions after a set period. By default, this is set to 30 seconds but can easily be adjusted in the configuration settings.

What Is multi-user session expiration?

Multi-user session expiration controls how long a shared session remains active without activity. After the set time passes, the session will automatically log out, requiring users to log in again. This helps prevent unauthorized access and ensures that inactive sessions are closed promptly.

How to configure multi-user session expiration

  1. Navigate to configuration -> advanced -> invites

  2. Set session expiration time

    • Find the field labeled "Number of seconds for multi-user session to expire".

    • Enter the desired number of seconds for the session timeout.

    • Example: Enter 300 to set the expiration to 5 minutes.
