When a purchase order is linked to customer orders, the related customer order can be displayed directly on the purchase order.
Whether the customer order reference is shown directly depends on the number of order lines connected to the purchase order.
When are related customer orders shown?
One order line (1-to-1 relation)
If the purchase order only has one order line, and this is reserved for a single customer order, the related customer order is displayed directly on the purchase order.
Example:
Multiple order lines
If the purchase order contains more than one order line, the system does not display related customer orders directly. This is to avoid long and complex lists.
In this case, you can view all linked customer orders under the yellow Reservations bubble, where they are listed per order.
Example:
Summary
- One order line → The related customer order is shown directly on the purchase order.
- Multiple order lines → Related customer orders are not displayed directly, but can be viewed under Reservations.
