Update product cost price from a purchase order

You can easily update a product’s cost price directly from a purchase order. When you update the cost price on a purchase order line, the new value can also be saved as the default cost price for the product itself.

Steps

1. Go to your Purchase Order.

2. Open the Cost tab.
   
   

3. Enter the new Cost Price on the product line.
   
   

4. Click the three-dot menu.

5. Select Update Cost Price.
   
   

The system will automatically update the product with the new cost price.


You can verify this by opening the Product – the updated cost price will now be visible.
