Additional templates

You can customize order prints, carts prints and project prints to meet your specific needs by adding additional templates. Once you create a new template and set the specified area, it will appear in the print options list. If no new templates are added only the default print option will be available.

Note: These additional templates replace the standard templates and can include various "merge tags" (excluding the email content merge tag).

Create a new template

To create a new template, you can start from scratch or use demo content and adjust it to your needs.

  1. Click on the Design tab.
  2. Start from scratch or use our demo content and adjust it to your needs.

  3. To open an existing demo file, click on open existing, and select either demoTemplateOrderReceipt or DemoTemplateProject

  4. The context is selected from the editor and defines which merge tags are available.Choose "Order" for order and cart prints, or "Project" for project prints.

  5. Adjust the template to suit your needs.

Merge tag groups

  1. For order lines, we use merge groups on the relevant content box to display all order lines. This is done by clicking on the merge tag icon.

  2. Each merge tag group has its own rules and available merge tags. These will only be available in the context of the group. Here, we select “order lines,” which will be repeated for each order line.

  3. If we now try to add tags inside the “context” box, the merge tags for the set group will also be available (marked with *).

  4. Save the file by clicking on "Edit" in the left corner. Give the file a name and add it to the additional templates as shown in the first image. Remember to set the correct area for the print to appear in the desired location.
